PLOT
Albert Elfrieden, the king of the Elfrieden Kingdom, informs Kazuya Souma, a young man who is abruptly transferred to another realm, that he is abdicating the kingdom to him. He is also told that Liscia, Albert's daughter, is the object of his betrothal. Kazuya gathers talented folks who are going to assist him with the reform after deciding he is going to revive the nation's faltering economy.
